As a Technical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Technical Manager and wider team to ensure compliance, product quality, and safety standards are upheld at all times. You’ll be involved in technical administration, audits, and customer support, providing a vital link between production and technical functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with day-to-day technical and quality assurance activities
* Supporting internal and external audits (BRC, retailer audits, customer visits)
* Maintaining documentation and records in line with quality standards
* Supporting NPD/launch activities with technical input
* Liaising with production teams to maintain high food safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a technical, QA, or quality role within food manufacturing
* Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and UK retailer requirements
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* A team player who is eager to learn and progress
* You will have experience supplying to the UK retailers
Salary
* Up to £35,000 per annum
