We are currently seeking a number of experienced Educational Psychologist to provide additional support for Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments. This is a flexible opportunity suited to professionals looking to contribute meaningfully to children and young people’s outcomes while working in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
o You will be responsible for completing statutory psychological advice for EHC needs assessments.
o In line with AEP guidance, two days will be allocated per assessment
o Face-to-face work in schools will be required, but all report writing and administrative tasks can be completed remotely.
o Access to a centrally located office is available, should you wish to work on site.
o You will be accountable to the Principal and/or Deputy Educational Psychologist.
o Suitable IT equipment will be provided.
o Optional access to monthly virtual CPD sessions, team meetings, and needs-led informal supervision.
We're currently piloting the DfE national template for EPs, giving you a chance to be part of shaping future practice in the profession.
Skills & Experience
o HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist
o Experience in producing high-quality statutory advice for EHC needs assessments
o Ability to work autonomously, manage your own time, and maintain professional standards
o Availability for in-person work in schools within the area
