Role: Parts Advisor
Location: Melksham
Salary: £30,000
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
My client, a well?established independent forklift hire and service company, is seeking a proactive Parts Advisor to join their busy team. This is a varied, hands?on role where you’ll play a key part in supporting both technicians and customers in a fast?paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Processing and dispatching parts orders to technicians and customers
* Liaising with manufacturers to place and track orders
* Managing goods inwards, stock control, and inventory checks
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery
* Assisting with customer and technician queries (face?to?face and over the phone)
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in construction, plant, agricultural, or automotive industries
* Mechanical understanding to accurately identify parts
* Strong attention to detail with excellent stock management skills
* Confident communicator with a customer?focused approach
