We have an excellent office-based role for an experienced Internal Sales Administrator in Castleford to join the team of this well-established UK designer and manufacturer of specialist Ethernet-based network transmission equipment.
About the role
The position of Internal Sales Administrator is a varied and interesting role and will involve:
Sales Orders
1. Processing all Sales Orders, ensuring the customer has ordered correct equipment and confirming price against customer quotations / Price Lists
2. Prepare correspondence for customers, Order Acknowledgements, shipment advice, tracking numbers etc
3. Update customers to any changes in delivery schedule
4. Issue RMA's to customer to return products for credit / repair
5. Answering customer enquiries over the phone and email
6. Issuing sales quotes and assisting with product selection
7. Supporting the sales team to arrange additional meetings and passing on all sales leads received by phone / email
8. Checking stock availability for customers and sales teams
9. Develop customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service.
10. Update customer contact database with new leads.
Purchase / Production Ordering
11. Enter production Orders onto the Microsoft D365 computer system
12. Obtain quotes from suppliers as required
13. Generate Production requirements from MRP
14. Analyse and review the needs prior to issuing works orders
15. Report on production works orders ensuring all components is correctly monitored and used
16. Update the sales team to changes in the production schedule & prioritising production of customer orders
17. Enter Transfer orders onto the Microsoft D365 computer system for components and stock
18. Prepare and send correspondence for suppliers, nonconformance notes, supplier reviews etc and monitor supplier performance.
19. Maintaining / adding new parts / BoMs and costs to Microsoft D365 computer system
20. Assist in Quality Audits & Stock takes as required
21. Assist the operations team in the end-to end order / Production process during busy periods and holiday cover
About the hours & rewards
For the role of Internal Sales Administrator, there is a salary on offer of £23,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About you
To be successful for the role of Internal Sales Administrator previous experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training into the role will be given. You must have / be:
22. A good background in office administration
23. Strong knowledge of Microsoft as a package including Word and Excel - full training will be given on Dynamics 365
24. Excellent communication, liaison and organisational skills
