Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in DH6, County Durham to assist them to find a One to One Teaching Assistant to support them from January 2026 on an ongoing basis.
The role is to work one to one with a child with a variety of needs and the ideal candidate would be available until the end of the school academic year.
Responsibilities
* Supporting a primary child with SEND needs who is currently awaiting an EHCP and Autism diagnosis
* Extra support during lessons, with feeling and self care
* Working independently with one child
* To use own initiative and take the lead
Requirements
* Confident and experienced in working with a child on a one to one basis
* Level 2 Qualification
* Provide 2 references, preferably from an educational background
* To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
