About The Role
Are you passionate about cloud technology and eager to make an impact? Join our Technology Operations team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, where you’ll design, implement and manage secure, scalable and resilient solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This is a hands‑on role focused on delivering stability, security and innovation to meet the evolving needs of our business.
What You’ll Do
* Design & Deploy: Build secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and services.
* Manage & Administer: Oversee Azure resources across compute, storage, networking, identity and security.
* Automate: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates to streamline provisioning.
* Monitor & Optimize: Ensure performance, availability and compliance with industry standards.
* Secure: Implement best practices for security, patching and vulnerability management.
* Migrate: Support workload transitions from on‑premises to Azure.
* Protect: Maintain robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.
* Innovate: Stay ahead of Azure advancements and drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: 3+ years in cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure.
* Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and ITIL v4 Foundation.
* Technical Skills:
o Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, AD, Key Vault, Security Center, Policy).
o Container platforms (AKS, RedHat OpenShift).
o Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash).
o Networking fundamentals and cloud security principles.
* Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving ability, excellent communication and a collaborative mindset.
Desirable Extras
* Azure SQL, MongoDB, Azure Sentinel.
* Linux administration and hybrid workloads.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).

Prerequisites
* Eligible for BPSS & SC clearance (current SC desirable).
