SEN Behaviour Mentor
Primary SEMH Specialist School – Preston – Up to £600 per week – Full-Time

A well-established Primary SEMH specialist school in Preston is seeking a dedicated SEN Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with additional emotional and behavioural needs. This is a challenging role suited to candidates with high levels of resilience and empathy and is an extremely rewarding opportunity for the right personality.
The Role – SEN Behaviour Mentor
In this SEN Behaviour Mentor role, you will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing 1:1 and small-group support to help them access learning and develop positive behaviours.
You will play a key role in managing challenging behaviour, using consistent, structured strategies to support emotional regulation and de-escalate situations effectively. Building strong, trusting relationships will be essential, as you act as a positive and reliable role model for pupils who require stability and encouragement.
You will support children with needs including SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and trauma-related behaviours, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence.
