What You Will Be Doing
As a qualified Nurse, you will ensure people with mental health conditions receive high-quality care, support your colleagues, and promote positive teamwork. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users
* Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
* Mentoring and supporting team members
* Observing, recording, and reporting service user changes, maintaining accurate care records
Skills and Knowledge Required

* NMC registration

Where You Will Be Working
At the Gateway Recovery Centre, a state-of-the-art facility providing care for men and women with complex mental health needs. The hospital has four distinct areas:
* Male Autism Service for adults with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome
* Assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs
* Specialist inpatient service for older men with complex mental and physical health needs
* Low secure care setting for men with mental illness and possible personality disorders or mild learning disabilities
You will work with the team to improve mental health and wellbeing, helping service users develop and maintain healthy relationships, and reduce risk behaviors associated with mental health conditions, aiming for patients to live successful lives within the community.
