Role OverviewThis is a fantastic opportunity for an
Estimator to join a forward-thinkingpany at the forefront of retail construction and shopfitting. Based in Southampton, you’ll play a key role in pricing and planning projects for major retail clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, andmercial viability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for retail shopfitting and construction projects.
2. Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
3. Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
4. Collaborate with project managers and clients to align budgets and timelines.
5. Provide value engineering and cost-saving rmendations.
6. Track project costs and support post-tender negotiations
Candidate Profile
7. Proven experience in estimating within the retail fit-out or construction sector.
8. Strong understanding of materials, labour, and subcontractor pricing.
9. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
10. Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
11. Strongmunication and stakeholder management skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
