Job Role: Shift Engineer Salary: £46,000 (Per Annum)Location: Gwynedd, WalesType: Full Time / PermanentBenefits: 20 Days Holiday + BH, Free Onsite Parking Overview: Everest People Solutions have partnered with the UK's top independent cupcake manufacturer, to recruit a multi skilled, electrically biased, shift maintenance engineer. On a six-week rolling rota with two 5 day breaks. As the successful candidate for the Shift Engineer, you will resolve breakdowns and conducts maintenance while driving site improvements. You will ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency at all time. Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Shift Engineer: Perform reactive and proactive maintenance to high standards.Rapidly respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.Efficiently conduct repairs during production.Execute proactive planned maintenance.Focus on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs.Engage in machinery and site improvements.Manage engineering time effectively to optimise OEE.Requirements for the Shift Engineer 3+ years of engineering experience.NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical/mechanical subject.Recognized engineering apprenticeship 17th or 18th Edition Certification.Experience in leading teams.Qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering.Strong electrical skills, preferably certified to the 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.Familiarity with Food Safety, Food Hygiene, and HACCP standards.Knowledge of Multivac lines is a plus, but training will be provided if necessary.Proactive approach to fault finding and continuous improvement.Ability to work independently with initiative.Strong teamwork ethic.Effective communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and PPM systems.Ability to understand electrical/mechanical drawings.Logical, flexible, and decisive.Flexibility with start/finish times.Ability to work in varied temperature environments.Physical fitness for manual tasks.Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.Business travel may be required.
