They are seeking a motivated and dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join their department and inspire students to develop skills in programming, digital literacy, and computational thinking. Key Duties Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum. Teach a range of topics including coding, algorithms, data representation, and IT applications. Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment. Provide constructive guidance to enhance student development. Work alongside colleagues to develop schemes of work and digital learning strategies. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to strengthen student progress. Key Skills & Qualities Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and a passion for inspiring curiosity about technology. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Effective classroom and behaviour management techniques. Energy and patience, especially when working with students requiring additional support. Essential Requirements QTS or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Computer Science in line with the national curriculum. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Desirable Experience assisting students with SEN. Dedication to broadening access to education. Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or digital competitions.
