Look no further! We have a fantastic 12-month opportunity as a Public Health Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive Public Health team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
This is a rewarding opportunity to influence how public health services are delivered across our borough, empowering our residents to lead healthier, safer lives. The role focuses on developing and supporting domestic abuse services, as well as contributing to other key areas such as Complex Lives and Children & Families.
We seek a forward-thinking individual who uses their public health expertise to influence strategic and operational outcomes.

In practice, the role will involve:
1. Influencing activities related to the prevention of and response to domestic abuse
2. Collaborating with partners to implement the Domestic Abuse Strategy for Stockton-on-Tees
3. Mobilising and performance managing the sanctuary service
4. Monitoring contracted services provided by Harbour
All you need to be a success is:
1. A degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience in public health
2. Proven experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programmes
3. Ability to interpret and apply data insights for evidence-based decisions
4. Excellent organisational skills and workload management
