You will play a vital role in driving growth, achieving sales revenue targets and growing market share in the South Central Region of the UK by promoting, selling and servicing the company's products, practicing good territory management in terms of organization, administration and expense planning and control, and training appropriate medical staff on products and procedures.
A successful candidate must possess the capabilities to aggressively grow with a huge upside to make a difference.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement plans to achieve/exceed sales budget.
* Ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory geographic areas to maintain optimum level of exposure and effective time management.
* Grow in a huge opportunity market, be a key driver within Business Development.
* Develop and act on plans which identify opportunities within current customer base and help formulate sales strategies.
* Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.
* Represent the company at industry conferences and maximize potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads and pursue opportunities to promote the company’s product range.
* Communicate market intelligence/competitor activity promptly, including potential sales leads, and information regarding product price or account activity to Regional Manager and other appropriate company personnel.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of sales experience in a hospital environment.
* A great working knowledge of market development, access and patient pathways/service re-design would be extremely helpful.
* Demonstrated success in a previous sales role, indicating a high level of sales performance.
* Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers and technical support personnel
* Travel 50-100% depending on relative locations of customers (this position requires driving and traveling to visit customers).
