What does the WCA Functional Assessor role involve?The WCA Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 to 6 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their ability to perform work-related activity. Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What we look for;An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 years or more broad post-registration experienceSomeone whos proactive and keen to learnExcellent oral and written communication skillsCompetent IT and computer skillsComfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
