Our client is a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultancy currently seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to join their dynamic team. They provide innovative digital and cybersecurity solutions to clients from both the public and private sectors. The role involves working on large-scale government and private sector projects.
Role Objective:
Seeking an experienced Senior Interaction Designer with a proven track record in working within agile, multidisciplinary teams to develop and iterate user-centered design concepts for complex services and transformation programs. Skilled in creating prototypes using the GOV.UK toolkit, and producing user journeys, wireframes, and navigation schemas.
Responsibilities:
* Develop design concepts rapidly within agile teams for complex services or transformation programs.
* Create prototypes using the GOV.UK toolkit.
* Produce user journey maps, sitemaps, navigation schemas, and wireframes.
* Ensure designs meet accessibility, legal, and security standards.
* Mentor junior colleagues and promote best practices.
* Develop user-centered design standards and lead the client’s UCD community.
* Promote high-quality user experience through reusable design elements.
* Participate in user research and maintain prototypes.
* Discuss evidence and data supporting design decisions.
Experience Required:
* Experience with the GOV.UK prototyping toolkit.
* Knowledge of the GOV.UK design system and accessibility standards.
* Ability to identify constraints and ensure feasible designs.
* Experience creating user-centered deliverables for stakeholders.
* Experience advising on accessible solutions across channels.
* Proficiency with rapid prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch.
* Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong consultancy, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
