Role Description

Integration Engineers use a whole platform, full lifecycle approach to ensure that component systems are brought together to deliver a product with all its required capabilities. Their role includes making sure engineering activities are planned and integrated effectively, delivered on time and to the correct quality across all stages of the engineering lifecycle. They engage with customers to understand their needs and translate these into clear engineering requirements, supporting delivery of the most appropriate solution. Integration Engineers are also involved in platform level engineering activities, bringing sub‑systems together to form an effective system of systems, and they influence a diverse and highly skilled community of engineers at all levels of the organisation to achieve successful outcomes.

Core Duties

• Using your engineering knowledge and experience to solve problems throughout our product lifecycle.
• Managing projects holistically, while developing a deeper technical understanding of the products you will be working on.
• Working with your team and others in the wider organisation to develop and mature advanced engineering solutions, supporting decision making for capability optimisation, interoperability and risk reduction.
• You might find yourself working on early lifecycle for FCAS, or supporting Eurofighter Typhoon with new systems, or innovating for the future in FalconWorks.
• Use systems engineering techniques to define and develop a whole product architecture.

The Air Team

We have a proud heritage in the development, manufacture, upgrade and support of world-leading combat and fast jet trainer aircraft. We operate across the globe, supporting design, production, and provision of aircraft including Typhoon, F-35 and Tempest.
