You will have direct management responsibility of a Project Manager supported by a team of Project Delivery Officers and Customer Liaison Advisers. Lead decarbonisation, retrofit, and planned works refurbishment projects across Walsall. Contract Management: oversee the management and delivery of investment programme projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, financial management, and addressing issues. Manage costs, financial reporting, and commercial aspects. Handle procurement and tenders. Identify and manage risks. Support bids and funding applications. Ensure compliance and safety standards. Engage with stakeholders, including WHG teams, local authorities, contractors, and suppliers. The Successful Applicant
Relevant qualification or professional membership in Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture. Experience managing large programmes and multiple projects within housing/construction sectors. Knowledge of retrofit, decarbonisation, and experience managing such projects. Experience in bid writing and working with grant funding. Experience in budget preparation and management. Must be within commuting distance to Walsall. What's on Offer
