Role Overview
An enthusiastic individual is sought to undertake the role of Clerical Officer/Receptionist within our health centres. The successful candidate will provide a high‑quality reception and efficient administrative service to staff and patients.
Responsibilities
* Greet and assist staff, patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
* Provide clerical support – answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining records and carrying out general office duties.
* Liaise with staff, clients and external agencies at all levels, ensuring clear and effective communication.
* Ensure smooth reception and administrative operations across designated health centres.
* Travel to other health‑centre locations in Nottinghamshire as required.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant data‑protection and clinical governance policies.
Qualifications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is desirable but not essential.
* Willingness and ability to travel between multiple health‑centre sites.
* Up‑to‑date DBS check (DBS required – the cost will be deducted from salary over the first two months of employment).
* DBS update service enrolment is encouraged (annual fee £16).
