You will take on a variety of responsibilities: making sure our services are managed effectively, developing our offering, monitoring the quality of our work, and helping us meet our statutory obligations. With high demand for our services, we must be adaptable and creative, and you will lead the way. You will also be responsible for hiring new staff and building a team that can achieve consistent high levels of service. While you are developing your team, we will help you to progress your own professional development through excellent training, mentoring and support from committed senior leaders. We are looking for candidates who: Holds approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualified or able to demonstrate a willingness to undertake the training Has Leadership skills and motivation Can manage change Can work collectively with colleagues, both internal and external At East Sussex, we are dedicated to developing our staff. As well as comprehensive in-house training, we support study for vocational qualifications through our Qualification and Assessment Centre, which is being expanded to offer apprenticeships and new learning and development pathways.
