Our client is seeking a proactive and creative Seniormunity Engagement Officer to lead the development of a strong, active and supportivemunity network. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships with members across different life and career stages, and on delivering activities that encourage ongoing involvement, advocacy and collaboration both in the UK and internationally. You will shape and implement engagement plans, deliver targeted outreach campaigns and ensure the organisation maintains a vibrant, connected and responsivemunity.
Your new role
In this role, you will create and deliver engaging content across digital, print and social channels, ensuring messaging is aligned with organisational goals. You will manage and host a variety of events and online activities—from awards ceremonies and panel discussions to interviews, reunions, podcasts and stakeholder events—designed to celebrate achievements, promote involvement and strengthen loyalty.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across marketing,munications, membership services, business engagement and volunteer coordination teams to ensure consistent, high‑impact messaging and identify opportunities for members to contribute through mentoring, volunteering, partnerships, case studies and expert input.
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires strong relationship‑building skills, excellentmunication abilities and a collaborative approach. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to ensuremunity engagement supports wider strategic priorities. You must be confident solving problems, managingpeting priorities and adapting quickly to operational needs. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves occasional out‑of‑hours work and travel to different sites to deliver events and activities.
What you'll get in return
This role is for 9 months, working full time Monday to Friday. You will be paid an hourly rate of £ per hour inclusive of holiday pay, paid out to you weekly.
