Openreach Civils Ganger – Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Openreach Civils Ganger to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering works related to the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate civil engineering teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Liaise with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Manage resources effectively, including materials, tools, and personnel.
* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
* Provide support to team members as required.
Skills
* Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams in a civil engineering environment.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to civil works.
* Ability to problem-solve effectively and make decisions under pressure.
