Overview
Working Hours: 35 hours per week. Contract Type: 2 x Full-Time, Permanent. Additional Payments: 6.7% Flexibility Payment, Casual Car User Allowance.
The team operates an eight week rolling rota consisting of early, day and evening shifts. In periods of extreme cold weather (temperature at zero degrees or below overnight) there will be an added requirement to work nights on a rotating shift pattern (night time Outreach between 21:30 and 04:00).

Responsibilities
* Face-to-face work with Manchester's homeless community to identify support needs and make appropriate referrals into temporary accommodation.
* Identify client needs and liaise with agencies and managers to ensure rough sleepers receive correct support and access to accommodation options.
* Work within a rotating day/evening schedule and participate in occasional weekend shifts; bridge interactions with clients, colleagues and external services to coordinate support.
Requirements and Qualifications
* 2 references (where possible 3 years of employment history).
* DBS clearance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced DBS; information handled confidentially and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice.
