We have a full-time vacancy for a Head of Sales & Marketing to lead and inspire the global Sales & Marketing team.
About The Department
The department is responsible for maintaining and increasing SATRA's global membership base along with driving sales of SATRA's many services.
About The Role
As Head of Sales & Marketing, you will be required to carry out the following:
· Design and implement a global commercial strategy, driving new business across all SATRA divisions
· Lead and inspire the Sales & marketing teams.
· Increase sales of all SATRA services, including: SATRA production efficiency platforms, Footwear Testing, PPE testing & certification, Flooring & Furniture testing
· Increase SATRA's membership throughout all current and potential countries of operation. (Global excluding China and SE Asia)
· Undertake regular visits and develop a contact plan for key customers.
· Develop strategic new targets across all service divisions
· Develop key account plans to map key accounts and identify cross selling opportunities
· Organise events targeted at Members and potential customers.
· Support planning and arrange meetings for exhibitions.
About You
Essential
· Demonstratable experience of designing and implementing a commercial strategy
· Demonstrable experience of leading and inspiring a sales & marketing team
· A comprehensive understanding and empathy with different and varied industries and a good understanding of the supply chains that SATRA supports.
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Experience in setting strategy, tactics and measurable targets/KPIs to check on progress
· Experienced results driven sales & marketing background
· Excellent time management and organisational skills – must be self-motivated
· Good verbal and written communication skills and able to build relationships with both customers and colleagues
· Must be confident meeting face to face with all levels of management
· English language skills
· Experienced and comfortable with international travel, occasionally over weekends.
· Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams / Zoom, PowerPoint and delivering presentations / webinars
· Hold a full driving licence
Desirable
· Experience of working in a testing-based environment would be an advantage
· Experience of organising and delivering events
· Experience of overseas travel
· Experience of using social media platforms
· Experience of using and managing sales teams with a CRM tool
