What’s the Role?
Lead the sales team, ensuring a high‑quality service for our customers. Report to the General Manager.
What does a typical day involve?
* Managing the team of Sales Executives and the Transaction Manager.
* Leading and motivating the team to meet sales targets on new and used vehicles and finance and insurance products.
* Liaising with customers, face‑to‑face and by phone/email.
* Working with marketing and digital sales teams to market vehicles and services online.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction index scores are consistently high.
* Handling any customer complaints efficiently.
* Maintaining and tracking KPI’s.
* Ensuring all sales are FCA compliant in conjunction with the Transaction Manager.
* Second‑facing when required to close a deal.
* Ensuring stock is prepared to company standards.
* Ensuring showroom and forecourt presentation is always to a high standard.
Who Are We Looking For?
Previous experience as a sales leader within the automotive industry.
* Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet their targets.
* A calm and professional manner.
* Experience managing and developing a sales team.
* Skill in building and maintaining customer relationships.
* Desire to maximise sales opportunities.
* Excellent, clear communication with line managers, colleagues and customers.
* Excellent product knowledge.
