. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BD/marketing professional to join a close-knit, high-performing team within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
This role sits within a dynamic Business Development function responsible for bids, tenders, pitches, client relationship management, new business activity, events, seminars and wider marketing initiatives. As Client Development Executive, you'll play an integral role in supporting client development activity across the firm, working closely with Partners, fee-earners and the wider Marketing & BD team.
The position will suit someone with superb attention to detail, strong organisational ability and a natural talent for building relationships. You will take pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoy being part of a collaborative team, and thrive in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
* Supporting client relationship management and helping develop focused key client plans.
* Coordinating client activity, including social and added-value initiatives, and contributing to reporting requirements for key clients and frameworks/panels.
* Maintaining vital information on internal client databases.
* Collating data and statistics to produce reports that track the value of BD activity.
* Assisting with client-focused events and conferences.
* Supporting the delivery of thought-leadership campaigns in collaboration with marketing.
* Tracking and reporting opportunities and BD-generated targets.
* Helping implement effective data-management processes.
* Conducting client, competitor and market research.
* Building relationships with Partners, fee-earners and clients.
* Preparing compelling social value and added-value tender content.
* Supporting the design and delivery of client development programmes, including key account management and client satisfaction initiatives.
* Managing and tracking client satisfaction activities, reporting insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
* Previous experience in a BD/Customer Development environment within a law firm, including experience in a similar client development role.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce consistently high-quality work and reports.
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* A flexible, proactive, can-do approach.
* Confidence in building relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* A desire to identify process improvements, promote best practice and contribute to the success of the wider team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to learn and excel within a law firm environment.
