The role
As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. To work with customers across the defence sector in building solutions that deliver insight and contribute to better operational decisions.
Day-to-day, you’ll will manage the Analytics function within the Design Information Group and have access to resources in the Data Exploitation team to conduct day to data activities.
1. Delivering Analytical capability to a variety of customers with focus on discovering insight into Engineering Data.
2. Leading the Analytical function for the Data Exploitation team’s contribution into specific projects.
3. Managing the delivery of capability to customers.
4. Challenging existing processes and procedures to add additional value.
5. Encouraging the customer and project team to contribute in the most effective way.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Senior Data Analyst:
6. Extensive previous experience as a Data Analytics professional and can show evidence of capability.
7. Must have a strong coding background with experience in either Python or SQL.
8. Strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications for the Senior Data Analyst:
9. A Degree in either Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
