The Opportunity We are looking for a highly organised and driven Tax Manager to take on a new and pivotal role within our client’s London-based Finance department. Reporting to the Head of Partnership Tax, you will lead and manage the complete tax compliance cycle for the LLP, its Members, and corporate entities. This is a superb opportunity to design and deliver a critical function within a leading professional services firm. You will act as a key advisor, handle correspondence with HMRC, and provide essential analysis, all while identifying opportunities for process improvements and technological implementation. Your Impact ● Lead the preparation of UK LLP and UK Corporation tax computations. ● Manage the preparation of individual member tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments. ● Deliver annual tax statements to Members, including tax reserving and reconciliations, and respond to their queries. ● Oversee the preparation of the PAYE Settlement Agreement and other tax compliance obligations. ● Handle all correspondence with HMRC efficiently and professionally. ● Monitor legislative developments to assess their impact on the firm and its members. ● Identify and implement process and control improvements, including new technology solutions. ● Support the Head of Partnership Tax with technical analysis and project-based reports. Who You Are ● You are an appropriately qualified professional (e.g., CTA, ACA, ATT or equivalent) with a strong UK tax compliance background. ● You have essential experience operating within a professional services environment; legal sector experience is a plus. ● You are a confident and clear communicator, capable of explaining complex tax matters to key stakeholders. ● You are a collaborative team player who is comfortable managing your own workload and that of others. ● You possess strong Excel skills and have experience with various tax software packages. ● You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to investigating issues and finding solutions.
