Job Summary
Our client is are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in welding and metal fabrication, with the ability to work confidently with steel sections and sheet metal. You will produce high-quality work, interpret technical drawings, and maintain excellent safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate components and assemblies from sheet metal and various steel materials
* Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
* Assemble parts and structures to drawings and specifications
* Perform MIG welding to a high standard; stick welding as required
* Carry out quality checks to ensure all finished products meet company standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Work collaboratively with other team members to improve efficiency
* Use basic maths skills for accurate measuring, cutting, and shaping of materials
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication (minimum 5 years)
* Strong experience working with steel sections and sheet metal
* Proficient with fabrication tools, machinery, and workshop equipment
* Strong mechanical understanding and ability to read technical drawings
* MIG welding proficiency required; TIG welding experience highly desirable
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team
