A vacancy has arisen within our Estates and Facilities Services Directorate, where our teams are committed to the provision of safe and effective patient care working alongside all of our colleagues to provide excellent Facilities for our patients, staff and visitors. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a positive “can do” attitude to work, and can demonstrate the qualities required of a caring professional working within the NHS. We are recruiting for caring, positive, and dependable people to join our team in the role of a Catering Assistant.
The role requires the ability to work in a team in a busy hospital where you will be required to undertake a range of duties in the provision of a catering service over a 7 day week. This will be to provide meals for lunch and an evening meal service along with any additional meals throughout the day, along with the cleaning of working areas and the disposal of all waste relating to the production of all food, under the direction of the Facilities Services Supervisor.
