Assembly Operative – Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent, 30–37.5 hours per week (flexi-time available, spread over 5 days)

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble small mechanical components and populate printed circuit boards
Perform hand soldering of components (training provided if required)
Conduct quality-controlled assembly and product testing
Pack finished products daily
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace
Undertake routine internal training to support ongoing development
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong manual dexterity and excellent eyesight
Ability to work with small, delicate components
High level of concentration and focus
Reliable, responsible, and proactive approach to work
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, hands-on tasks in a structured and supportive working environment. Prior experience in hand soldering or electronics assembly is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
