Key responsibilities:
1. Identifies, publishes and communicates strategic technology standards, frameworks, principles and roadmaps to be used throughout the IT organization to guide technology decisions and leverage efficiency opportunities
2. Analyzes the impact of implementing new technologies into the IT infrastructure.
3. Assists Solution Architects, Product specialists and Project Managers in matching technology services to specific business services and ensure technology roadmap is aligned in Dev projects
4. Responsible for designing and guiding implementing a robust, scalable solution
5. Evaluates and represents solution options in Architecture Review Board and obtains approval for best identified solution for implementation.
6. Setup architecture best practices and collaborate with Business, IT and 3rd party product vendors to align the programme objectives and achieve set critical goals.
7. Conduct system assessments and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
1. Strong understanding of AWS gateway/integration methodologies, APIs, and data migration strategies
2. This is not a Technical Architect role, so rather than any core platform/technology expertise, it’s important to have Solution Architecture expertise and knowledge with consulting mindset.
3. Looking for an experienced Solution Architect, with previous experience as Technical Architect.
4. Strong Solution Architectural experience in medium to large scale transformation programs preferred with approx. 8-9+ years of relevant experience as Solution Architect
5. Experience in driving architecture strategy forward, application integration, governance model, security roadmaps, Application hosting in AWS Cloud platform, software design.
6. Working experience in Agile model and in multi supplier environment.
7. Wil be part of a team of Solution Architects, reporting to Head of Architecture.
8. Understanding of Utilities industry needed.
9. Excellent articulation and presentation skills needed to collaborate with Senior Leadership and stakeholders.
