Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner Monday to Friday 3pm to 7pm 20 hours a week to join our team at Custom House Manage Office Space. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our office building. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and experience in various cleaning and sanitation tasks. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial services, or residential cleaning is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where quality service and customer satisfaction are prioritized.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
* Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organising Towels and cloths
* Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all assigned areas
* Use appropriate cleaning tools and products to ensure effective results
* Care for floors through specialised floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
* 3pm to 7pm 20 hours per week Monday to Friday
Skills
* Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hotel housekeeping
* Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques
* Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
* Experience with laundry operations and basic cooking skills (preferred)
* Familiarity with floor care procedures including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
* Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
