About the role
As a key member of our finance team, you will be focused on providing the highest standards of customer care and an efficient and accurate service to our colleagues and other stakeholders. Each day will bring different challenges so you should be prepared to get involved in a wide variety of tasks.
In this role you will
* Ensure that financial records are up to date and accurate, whilst carrying out transactional processing across sales and purchase ledgers
* Carry out bank reconciliations, cashbook entry, and deal with petty cash whilst overseeing the use of the company credit cards
* Manage the company expenses process
* Ensure that invoices are inputted onto the system and approved in order for payments to be processed in an efficient and timely manner
* Manage queries and reconcile supplier statements
* Manage shared team inbox
* Assist the team with month end KPI production and also the wider company with finance queries, as-well as annual financial audit
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* An ability to work proactively and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills and an ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks effectively
* Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of other MS Office packages (essential).
* An interest of pursuing or planning to start their AAT qualification (or an equivalent)
* A good level of experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized company, preferably in a professional services environment and looking for progression.
* Excellent attention to detail
