We are seeking a passionate individual who wants to help improve our operations to deliver even more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will understand and analyse user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with the service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to linking current and future business models and support the delivery of the business architecture. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including project and technical teams, will be essential.
Senior BAs are expected to lead in identifying opportunities and implementing improvements for the Business Analysis Service, acting as technical leads, supporting colleagues, and shaping work scopes.

The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting critical change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, enabling informed decisions that contribute to better places for people and wildlife and support sustainable development.

Experience/skills Required
* Leadership: Guiding colleagues, leading projects, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience engaging senior stakeholders for project alignment.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex business issues and identify opportunities.
* Project Delivery: Experience managing analytical support products like requirements catalogues, impact assessments, and business process models.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Substantial experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch between tasks/projects quickly to meet business needs.
* Experience working in an Agile environment or with Government Digital Service.
* Experience leading refinement sessions.
* Commitment to Continuous Professional Development and sharing expertise.
