CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.

We are recruiting a Facilities Manager to join the team located at Heathrow Airport.


Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the fabric of the building both externally and internally is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.
* Be responsible for all health and safety compliance onsite, including that of third‑party services providers and maintenance records, ensuring Meridian is regularly updated and monitored in accordance with all health and safety requirements.
* Oversee third‑party contracts to ensure the correct standard of service is provided in accordance with the agreed contract.
* Prepare, control and monitor the service agreement in accordance with the client’s budgetary agreement.
* Regularly monitor key performance indicators and take remedial action as applicable to maintain and continually improve standards for the full range of buildings.
* Compile and maintain all required management information/records relating to the company, health and safety, and other related records, including asset register, emergency plans and related management reports.
* Develop and maintain excellent tenant relationships, ensuring tenants receive the highest standards of service in relation to their operational needs and attend tenant meetings as applicable.
* Ensure fire and other evacuations are carried out regularly in accordance with health and safety requirements.
* Continuously update emergency plans and related site maps within all properties managed by reportees, as applicable.
* Liaise with local authorities as appropriate.
* Proactively manage risk and deal with insurance issues on site.
* Manage major work programmes on site, acting as the liaison point for all parties involved.
* Produce management reports in accordance with the needs of the business.
* Liaise with the building manager and the procurement department to ensure compilation of external contracts and ensure all procurement needs are carried out in line with company policy.
* Monitor FM works onsite and liaise with service providers and subcontractors.
* Perform any other duties in accordance with the needs of the business.


Person Specification

* Degree level education or equivalent.
* Previous regional facilities management experience within a multi‑let property environment, including line management responsibility for company personnel and contractors and management service agreements.
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
* IT literate, with understanding and experience of industry‑specific IT applications.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, environmental protection requirements, and ideally IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
* Analytical skills.
* Ability to work within a team and on own initiative, in a pressurised environment, with excellent organisational and planning skills.
* BIFM qualification desirable.
