Job Purpose

We're looking for a motivated and collaborative Project manager to support the delivery of third-party activity within the Windermere catchment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on working across teams, driving infrastructure projects, and making a tangible difference to the environment and local communities.

This role will take ownership of the delivery of the third-party projects, tracking progress against key performance metrics, and managing end-to-end delivery of the projects. In this role, you will focus on engaging with asset owners, leading governance processes, and working closely with teams such as commercial, legal and engineering to ensure smooth implementation.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You'll work closely with local partnerships and local stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with shared environmental and community goals.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

* Oversee and coordinate the successful delivery of third-party projects within the Windermere catchment, ensuring alignment with regulatory targets and agreed timescales.
* Work collaboratively to guide internal and external governance processes, including cost-benefit analysis, technical validation and long-term benefit planning.
* Partner with our communications team to support community and stakeholder engagement and build positive relationships with both interested and committed asset owners.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of commercial strategies, supporting decisions related to asset ownership, installation and ongoing maintenance.
* Liaise closely with the Wastewater Strategy team to ensure project activity meets performance commitment requirements.
* Collaborate with external partners to delivery shared objectives, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and in alignment with both UU and partner ambitions.
