Gleeson Recruitment Group has been briefed on an exciting opportunity for an experienced NetSuite Administrator to join a growing organization based in Staffordshire.
As a NetSuite Administrator, your primary responsibility will be overseeing and maintaining our NetSuite instance across multiple territories, optimizing its performance and functionality as needed.
This pivotal role supports and strengthens our NetSuite ERP system, focusing on accounting and broader business operations.
This role requires someone with a finance background, experience in the financial industry, and a strong understanding of NetSuite finance modules.
You will collaborate closely with IT, finance, and other departments to understand their needs, implement customizations, provide user support, and promote continuous improvement.
Additionally, streamlining and enhancing existing business processes to ensure the reliable integration of financial data and full compliance with accounting standards will be key responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage User Roles and Permissions: Administer user access and permissions within NetSuite according to organizational roles, regularly review and update roles to ensure appropriate access and security.
2. Define role-based access controls (RBAC): Enforce segregation of duties (SoD) and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data, maintaining role hierarchies that reflect organizational structure.
3. Audit and Security: Use NetSuite's audit trail and activity monitoring to track user actions, conduct periodic reviews, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations such as GDPR. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security.
4. Collaborate with internal teams: Work with security, audit, and compliance teams to align configurations with regulatory standards.
5. Manage Oracle PBCS: Administer and configure Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring efficient performance and data accuracy.
6. Document and Standardize Processes: Document key processes, policies, and controls, standardize workflows, and establish protocols for managing codes, FX rates, accounting periods, and approval matrices.
7. Configure and Customize NetSuite: Understand business requirements, customize forms, fields, workflows, scripts, and reports, and stay updated on new features and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role, with a solid understanding of NetSuite ERP and CRM modules.
2. Strong background in NetSuite Finance.
3. Working knowledge of Oracle PBCS for financial planning and forecasting.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Desirable: Oracle NetSuite certifications such as NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant.
