Main duties of the job
As a Peripatetic Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for supporting several care homes in the Wimbledon region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fresh food for residents. You'll have a personable approach, a good understanding of nutrition, and experience working with seasonal ingredients. Your kitchen management skills and ability to create a warm, welcoming environment will be essential. About You: A personable approach with a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing, good understanding of nutrition, experience with seasonal fresh food, NVQs/SVQs or City & Guilds, up-to-date food hygiene certification, ability to create a warm environment, confidence engaging with residents, and strong kitchen management skills.
