Band 7 £50,935 – £59,244 per annum plus Distant Island Allowance £1,408 per annum. 37 hours per week. Permanent post.
Location: Uist and Barra (post based in Uist).
Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day management and coordination of the NHS Health Visiting and School Nursing teams in Uist and Barra.
* Provide leadership to the teams, supporting service development based on agreed policies and procedures and ensuring a high‑quality service that operates within the NMC Code and clinical Governance Frameworks.
* Carry a small caseload.
* Train students and liaise with higher‑education establishments.
Qualifications & Requirements
* First‑level registered nurse with a Health Visiting/Public Health degree qualification.
* Several years post‑registration experience with a diverse caseload and demonstrated leadership/management experience.
* Full UK driving licence – car owner required.
* Must register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme.
* Post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
