We are now seeking, for our site in Peterborough : Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) Working in cooperation with multiple project stakeholders, you will be responsible for the commissioning of our equipment, and the supervision of electrical installation at customers sites around the world. You will be the ambassador of our brand at our customers sites, as you will be the last technician remaining on site during acceptance tests and production launch. Main Duties Commission machinery so that its mechanical, electrical, software and process functions perform to contract specification Modify and fault-find software for a variety of PLC platforms Ensure customer satisfaction by being resourceful on site When required, supervise other engineers on site employed or contracted by Baker Perkins or by the customer Be aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to management Support technical and customer services in the office and on site Participate in continuous improvement, helping R&D, manufacturing, customer services, drawing office, etc. Candidate Profile Experience in installing and commissioning value-added capital equipment: food and beverage, O&G, pharmaceuticals, etc. Knowledge in fault-finding and program changing on PLC (Rockwell-Siemens and others) and HMI (Rockwell-WinCC Good mechanical and electrical skills as well as a hands-on mindset Customer focus with excellent communication skills and a successful track record of developing customer relationships Competence to prioritise tasks and work under pressure Capability to work alone but still be part of a team Cultural openness Ability to work away from home for extended periods, both in the UK and overseas up to 75% travelling around the world Join us welcome to Shaping What Matters For Tomorrow ADZN1_UKTJ
