Our client islooking for a SeniorBusiness Development Manager to close new and complex large salesdeals across the public sector.
As a key memberof our sales team the Senior Business Development Manager will beresponsible for driving revenue growth by identifying andcapitalizing on strategic opportunities building relationships withkey stakeholders and delivering tailored solutions that address theunique needs of public sector clients.
This rolewill be ideal for someone with a wealth of public sector experienceand a black book of trusted connections so they can hit the groundrunning.

Thisrole is based in our head office in BracknellBerkshire.
This is an officebasedvacancy and as such we expect all applicants to be willing tocommute to our offices a minimum of 34 days per week as per ourhybrid working policy.
Keyresponsibilties...
Strategicaccountplanning
* Achieverevenue & margin targets from new customers on a monthlyquarterly and annual basis.
* Develop and executea comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targetswithin the UK public sector market.
* Work withmarketing or other internal departments to proactively identify andtarget customers.
* Build sales strategies forspecific customer accounts.
* Identify andprioritize key accounts and opportunities within central and localgovernment agencies.
* Provide accurateforecasting of opportunities by effectively managing salesopportunities.
* Track and report sales activitypipeline and forecasts using CRMsoftware.
Customerrelationships &satisfaction
* Build andmaintain strong relationships with decisionmakers influencers andother stakeholders within targetorganizations.
* Drive the promotion and sale ofadditional services to or through thecustomer.
* Maintain a detailed knowledge ofcustomer objectives and key personnel.
* Prepareand deliver compelling proposals quotes and presentations thataddress customer requirements andobjectives.
* Manage customer expectations duringsales delivery and throughout thecontract.
* Collaborate closely with internalteams including presales product development and customer successto ensure alignment and customersatisfaction.
Productand salesexpert
* Maintain a broadunderstanding of key products and technology relevant to ourservices.
* Conduct thorough needs assessmentsand solution presentations to effectively communicate the valueproposition of our storm platform.
* Stay abreastof industry trends regulations and competitive landscape to informsales strategies and positioning
* Contributethought and expertise to brand/marketing activities asrequired.
* Mentor and advise other salescolleagues in order to assist their development/closing ofopportunities.
* Communicate regularly with thein Country SalesDirector.
Aboutyou...
* Bachelors degreein a relevant subject.
* Good experience ofmanaging or closing major accounts within both UK central and localgovernment organisations typically of at least five years.
* Substantial experience in the SaaS orequivalent industry typically of at least five years with a focuson the public sector market.
* Strong experienceworking with public sector frameworks.
* Provenability to manage and motivate others.
* Experience using a CRM or similartool.
* Excellent interpersonal skills includingeffective influencing andnegotiating.
* Excellent communication skills andthe proven ability to form strong client relationships.
