Job Title: Campus Coordinator
Location: Arthur House (Manchester M1 3FH)
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:30 (occasional Saturday/Sunday & Evenings as may reasonably be required)
Reporting to: Campus & Facilities Manager
Job Overview:
The Campus Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Borough campus, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and supportive environment for both staff and students. This role focuses on coordinating maintenance, operations, health & safety, security, and sustainability initiatives.
The Campus Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining an environment conducive to effective work and learning, ensuring that all aspects of campus life run seamlessly while meeting organisational standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and overseeing the efficient delivery of all campus operations, facilities maintenance, cleaning, security, and IT functionality.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
* Ensuring campus facilities, resources, and environments meet the needs and requirements of students, staff, and visitors.
* Acting as the primary key holder and responsible for the secure opening and closing of the campus site.
* Ensuring classroom and office spaces are fully resourced, functional, appropriately set up, and maintained.
* Informing staff and students of facilities, resources, and environment issues, changes, and procedures.
* Monitoring, ordering, and coordinating campus supplies, including refreshments and catering.
* Maintaining an updated inventory of all campus equipment and supplies.
* Supporting the Campus Manager with practical tasks as needed.
* Collaborating with the Student Services team to support student needs.
* Reporting maintenance, procurement, and safety issues to the campus manager.
* Supporting campus events such as workshops and inductions.
* Providing regular reports to your line manager.
* Willingness to work outside standard hours, including weekends.
* Testing the fire alarm weekly.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in facilities, resources, or coordination roles.
* Understanding of the Higher Education sector and culture.
* Knowledge of health & safety legislation and statutory regulations.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
