About the Role:
An established and respected law firm in Leeds is looking to recruit a proactive and organised Commercial Property Paralegal to join its busy Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to build on their legal experience and develop a long-term career within a friendly and professional environment.
You will work closely with experienced fee earners, providing essential support on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and landlord and tenant matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting fee earners with all aspects of commercial property transactions
2. Conducting legal research and due diligence, including Land Registry and local authority searches
3. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
4. Preparing reports on title and assisting in the preparation of leases and licenses
5. Managing files and maintaining accurate records
6. Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties
7. Supporting with post-completion work, including registrations and file closures
About You:
8. At least 12 months of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in commercial property
9. Excellent organisational and communication skills
10. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
11. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting fee earners and clients
12. Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team
13. Competent in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
