HSEQ Coordinator

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 + Van + Fuel Card + Pension

Your New Role
As the HSEQ Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality activities across the organisation. This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to multiple areas of HSEQ, ensuring no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing HSEQ support and guidance to managers across the business.
2. Assisting with HSEQ audit and inspection programmes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
3. Supporting accident and incident investigations and reporting procedures.
4. Collating and reporting HSE statistics, near-misses and observations.
5. Coordinating internal and external HSEQ training and contributing to employee development.
6. Advising on RAMS and assisting with subcontractor and site audits.
7. Visiting sites regularly, including some travel across the region.
This role offers genuine scope to influence safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential:
8. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
9. Minimum 2 years’ experience within Health & Safety.
10. Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
11. Analytical mindset with good attention to detail and report-writing skills.
12. Competence with Microsoft Office.
13. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
14. Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
15. Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
16. Experience in the construction or manufacturing sector.
