About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join a residential team in one of our specialist homes to deliver the New Ways therapeutic programme and enable staff to support the therapeutic goals in the residential setting. The programme combines the delivery of individual therapy and group work to children and training packages to the residential staff.

Requirements
* Recognised Masters in Psychology
* An active, energetic, creative, outgoing character
* Good communication skills and be fluent in English speaking
* A full driving licence
Preferred Experience
* Therapeutic work with children
* Group work with young people
* Trauma focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT)
* Applying psychometric tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with service users
We also refer to this role internally as “Programme Psychologist”. The recruitment process aims to create and maintain a safe workforce and contains robust vetting procedures. The successful applicant will be appointed subject to references, enhanced DBS and screening.
