Currently, we are seeking a skilled Multiskilled General Builder with stone masonry expertise to join our team.
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled General Builder who excels in working with stone masonry, particularly limestone. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the construction of a new build garage and a family room extension, contributing to the aesthetic and structural aspects of these projects. Ideally, the candidate would also have experience in roofing and plastering, in addition to bricklaying/stone masonry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stone Masonry: Expertly work with limestone, including cutting, shaping, and setting stone to meet project requirements.
* Bricklaying: Perform bricklaying tasks as necessary, ensuring precision and quality.
* Construction: Participate in the construction of a new build garage and family room extension from foundation to finish.
* Multiskilled Abilities: Ideally, possess skills in roofing and plastering to contribute to various aspects of construction.
* Material Handling: Safely handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
* Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring all work meets project specifications.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, creating a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Multiskilled General Builder with stone masonry experience, particularly in working with limestone.
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and precision.
* Physical fitness and stamina for manual labour.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
