Social Care Support Worker

We provide a comprehensive induction programme aligned with Care Certificate Standards, along with dedicated learning and development opportunities. For those new to the sector, we offer Apprenticeships and free training to achieve qualifications in Social Care.
All staff have access to a wide range of free online courses on various topics. We cover the cost of DBS checks prior to employment. Main duties include:
* Implementing individual support plans and activities in a challenging environment.
* Communicating effectively with service users, families, and colleagues while maintaining confidentiality.
* Supporting with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social events.
* Maintaining accurate notes and records.
* Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
Personal characteristics:
* Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
* Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, or mental health issues.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Confidence to work independently and in a team.
* Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
* Commitment to safeguarding high standards.
