Are you ready to lead cutting-edge infrastructure across Europe and help drive our digital evolution? CRH Europe is looking for an ambitious & enthusiastic Data Centre & Cloud Manager to join our high-performing Technology Infrastructure & Operations team. You will be instrumental in delivering secure, efficient, and reliable data centre and cloud services that support over 33,000 users across more than 20 countries.
The Role
As the Data Centre & Cloud Manager, you will oversee a broad portfolio of services and vendors, ensuring operational excellence and resilience. You will lead a talented team and act as the primary escalation point for all data centre and cloud-related matters. Your leadership will guide the deployment of new infrastructure, drive performance optimisation, and ensure compliance with the highest security standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you'll:
* Lead the delivery, maintenance, and performance of data centre and cloud services.
* Serve as the senior point of contact and escalation for all vendor-related issues.
* Ensure full security and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., NIST).
* Reduce incident volumes through proactive service improvement and innovation.
* Champion vendor management and foster strong relationships with third-party providers.
* Collaborate with IT leadership and other stakeholders to align strategies.
* Keep pace with emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies, applying them to business advantage.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Demonstrable project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A deep understanding of data centre and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
* A Proven track record in vendor and stakeholder management
* You'll possess professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, Azure, AWS)
* You'll be fluent in English; an additional European language is an advantage
* You'll possess excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Experience Required
* A degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field
* Proven technical experience in IT infrastructure
* Proven management experience, ideally in a federated or matrix organisation
* A background in construction materials or industrial manufacturing is desirable
