Graduate Project Manager

Overview
The Graduate Project Manager role is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start a career in project management within the construction and energy sector.
You will work closely with experienced Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and delivery teams to support projects from early planning through to completion.
This role is designed to help you build strong foundations in project coordination, communication, and compliance, while gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting Preconstruction:
* Helping the estimating team by liaising with stakeholders to obtain information that allows for a more accurate submission.
* Assisting with the organisation and control of design and technical documents, ensuring the right information is shared with the right people at the right time.
* Working alongside the Director to maintain and expand SITU Energy’s accreditations.
Supporting Project Delivery:
* Working with Project Managers to help transfer information from preconstruction into live projects.
* Assisting the Project Coordinator with road notices to Local Authorities and helping to arrange site meetings.
* Organising and maintaining project documentation such as contracts, permits, drawings, and approvals.
* Helping ensure site records are collected, filed, and shared with the commercial team, including daily records, progress photos, site diaries, and quality documentation.
* Supporting the management of NERS documentation, audits, including job packs and passports, and keeping stakeholders informed.
* Assisting with the preparation of O&M manuals, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Toolbox Talks.
* Helping onboard new subcontractors and labour, ensuring paperwork, insurances, and certificates are in place.
Day-to-Day Support:
* Helping keep communication flowing between Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Assisting with arranging meetings, site visits, and appointments for the operations team.
* Keeping project trackers, records, and databases up to date.
* Answering calls and emails and directing queries to the right people.
* Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documents.
* Getting involved in wider business or improvement projects to build experience and confidence.
What We’re Looking For
* A recent graduate with a construction, engineering or project management related degree with a minimum grade of 2.1 and an interest in project management or construction.
* Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment.
* A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm to develop professionally.
* (Desirable) Any previous experience in construction, utilities, or an ICP environment.
