Grounds and Site Maintenance Operative
Location: BAE Systems, Broad Oak, Portsmouth
Full-time, 39 hours per week
Please note: a valid UK Driver's Licence is a requirement for this role.
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Grounds and Site Maintenance Operative to join our team at BAE Systems Broad Oak. You will be responsible for keeping the site grounds maintained, supporting staff on site, and ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day.
What you will be doing:
* Grounds care including mowing, strimming, sweeping, weeding and hedge cutting
* Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
* Assisting with deliveries and occasional movement of furniture or equipment
* Working as part of a small, supportive team alongside the Site Manager
* Following all Health and Safety standards at all times
What we are looking for:
* Someone who is comfortable with outdoor and manual work
* A positive, practical attitude and good team skills
* Willingness to learn and complete training as required
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
